Search and Rescue Dogs Association (Southern Scotland)

2010-10- 1 Dog en-route to assist Fife Police along with a dog from SARDA Scotland in the search for a missing man in the Dunfermline Area. He was located by Police while the handlers were en-route to the incident.

2010-09- 1 Dog assisted Moffat Mountain Rescue Team and Dumfries and Galloway Police in the search for a missing woman near Clarancefield. She was located just as the handler was being deployed. (Fatality)

2010-08- 1 Dog assisted Tayside Mountain Rescue Team and Tayside Police in the search for a missing man near Scone. He was located just as the handler arrived at the incident.

2010-07- 1 Dog assisted Lomond Mountain Rescue Team and Central Scotland Police after shouts for held were heard on Ben Lomond. After a substantial search nothing was found and the search stood down.

2009-06- 1 Dog en-route to assist Tweed Valley Mountain Rescue Team and Lothian and Borders Police in the search for a missing female near Edinburgh. She was located while the handler was en-route to the incident.

2010-05- 1 Dog assisted Central Scotland Police in the continuation of incident 2010-02. Nothing was found and the search stood down

2010-04- 1 dog assisted Killin MRT and Central Scotland Police in a search for a hillwalker who was seen falling from a ridge near the summit of Ben Lui. After a long search in extremely foul weather conditions and well into early hours of the morning a casualty and female companion were located on the mountain side. They were recovered from hill unfortunately one fatality.

2010-03- 1 dog assisted, with 2 more en-route, Oban Mountain Rescue Team and Strathclyde Police in the search for a missing man in the Lochgilphead Area. The search was stood down pending further police enquiries.

2010-02- 2 Dogs assisted Ochils Mountain Rescue Team and Central Scotland Police in the search for a missing man in the Falkirk Area. After a substantial search in heavy snow the search was stood down pending further Police enquiries.

2009-01- 1 Dog assisted with one en-route Ochils Mountain Rescue Team and Central Scotland Police in the search in the Tillicoutry Area after cries for help had been reported in the hills above the town. After a substantial search nothing was found and the search stood down.
