Call Out 14 6th May 2015
Brief Summary of Task : 4 dogs (John & Rowther, Liz & Faelin, Alan & Molly and Andy & Dugald) assisted Police Scotland (Forth Valley Division) and Lomond MRT in a search in the Loch Ard Forest near Aberfoyle after a person contacted emergency services in need of assistance.

Outcome and Relevant Details: Dog teams were tasked to assist search teams in the maze of forest roads and woodland tracks around Loch Ard Forest. After overnight and daylight searches the following day, nothing was found. There was no missing person reported to police and the searches were stood down pending further information.

Brief Summary of Task : 1 dog (John & Rowther) assisted Police Scotland (Lothian & Borders Division) and Tweed Valley MRT in a search for a missing 43 year old man in the Hawick area.

Outcome and Relevant Details: Dog team was stood down after man was located safe and well.

Brief Summary of Task : 1 dog (Darryl & Ruby) assisted Police Scotland (Ayrshire Division) and Arran MRT in an incident of a report of a female being cut off by rising water in the Glen Sannox area of Arran.

Outcome and Relevant Details: Dog team and search teams quickly located the female who was safely rescued by team members.

Brief Summary of Task : 1 dog (John & Rowther) assisted Police Scotland (Lothian & Borders Division) and Tweed Valley MRT in a search for a missing 13 year old boy in the Galashiels area.

Outcome and Relevant Details: Dog team was stood down after the boy was located cold and wet walking in the area. Returned home safe and well.

Brief Summary of Task : 1 dog (John & Rowther) assisted Police Scotland (Lothian & Borders Division) and Tweed Valley MRT in a search for a missing person in the Peebles area.

Outcome and Relevant Details: Dog teams were tasked to search various areas but stood down pending further police enquiries. Happily the missing person returned home on own accord.

Brief Summary of Task : 2 dogs (Liz & Faelin and Darryl & Ruby) assisted Police Scotland (Forth Valley Division), Killin MRT and multi agency/teams search for a missing hillwalker in the Tyndrum and Crianlarich areas.

Outcome and Relevant Details: Dog teams were tasked to search mountain terrain around Ben Dubhcraig and Ben Oss. Sadly the body of a man was located. (FATALITY)

Brief Summary of Task : 1 dog (John & Rowther) assisted Police Scotland (Lothians & Borders Division), Tweed Valley MRT and Borders SARU and 2 dogs from SARDA Scotland in a search for a missing 67 year old male from the Jedburgh area.

Outcome and Relevant Details: Dog teams were tasked to search various areas. Sadly the body of a man was located in a nearby River. (FATALITY)

Call Out 07 30th January, 2015
Brief Summary of Task : 3 dogs (John & Rowther, Alan & Molly and Jenny & Troy)) assisted Police Scotland (Lothians & Borders Division), Tweed Valley MRT and Borders SARU and a SARDA Scotland dog in a search for a missing 75 year old female dementia sufferer from a Nursing Home in Lasswade in East Lothian.

Outcome and Relevant Details: Dog teams searched various locations near to the Home, however, all teams stood down after the lady was found safe and well in a cupboard by Nursing Staff at the Home.

Call Out 06 28th January, 2015
Brief Summary of Task : 1 dog (John & Rowther) assisted Police Scotland (Lothians & Borders Division), Tweed Valley MRT and 1 dog from SARDA Scotland in a search for a missing vulnerable female last seen entering woodland near Innerleithen.

Outcome and Relevant Details: Dog teams were tasked to search woodland areas in extreme cold and snow conditions. During a footpath search dog Rowther 'indicated' and led his handler to the missing woman in the hollow of a tree root about 10 metres from the footpath. The casualty was promptly treated for hypothermia and with assistance from Royal Navy SAR helicopter airlifted to hospital.

Call Out 05 23rd January 2015
Brief Summary of Task : 1 dog (John & Rowther) assisted Police Scotland (Lothians & Borders Division), Tweed Valley MRT and 1 dog from SARDA Scotland in a search for a missing 47 year old male from Livingston who failed to turn up for his work in Edinburgh.

Outcome and Relevant Details: Dog teams were tasked to search areas along the M8 corridor and Union Canal. Nothing was found and search was stood down pending further police enquiries. Sadly the body of a man was located outwith search areas. (FATALITY)
