Brief Summary of Task : 1 dog (John & Rowther) assisted Police Scotland (Lothians & Borders Division), Tweed Valley MRT and 1 dog from SARDA Scotland in a search for a missing 47 year old male from Livingston who failed to turn up for his work in Edinburgh.

Outcome and Relevant Details: Dog teams were tasked to search areas along the M8 corridor and Union Canal. Nothing was found and search was stood down pending further police enquiries. Sadly the body of a man was located outwith search areas. (FATALITY)

Brief Summary of Task : 1 dog (John & Rowther) assisted Police Scotland (Lothians & Borders Division), Tweed Valley MRT in a search for a vulnerable woman in the Mayfield area near Dalkeith.

Outcome and Relevant Details: The missing lady was located outwith the search areas and left in the care of medical teams and the dog team stood down.

Brief Summary of Task : 1 dog (John & Rowther) assisted Police Scotland (Lothian & Borders Division), Borders SARU in a search for a 44 year old vulnerable female near Roxburgh.

Outcome and Relevant Details: Dog Team were tasked to search old railway line to the Roxburgh viaduct. Sadly the body of a female was located in the River Teviot (FATALITY).

Brief Summary of Task : 1 dog (Dave & DVSD) assisted Police Scotland (Dumfries & Galloway Division), Moffat MRT in a continuation of a search for an 18 year old male in the Kirkconnel Merse area of the River Nith, Dumfries.

Outcome and Relevant Details: Search carried out in the area with nothing found.

Brief Summary of Task : 1 dog (John & Rowther) assisted Police Scotland (Dumfries & Galloway Division), Moffat MRT in a search for a 41 year old vulnerable male in the Bankend area of Dumfries.

Outcome and Relevant Details: Dog Team were stood down on route after the male made contact with relatives confirming he was safe and well.

Brief Summary of Task : 3 dogs (Andy & Dugald, John & Rowther and Jenny & Troy) assisted Police Scotland (Dumfries & Galloway Division), Moffat MRT, HM Coastguard a,d Nith Inshore Rescue Services in a search for an 18 year old male last seen in the River Nith at Dumfries.

Outcome and Relevant Details: Dog Teams searched the Kirkconnel Merse area in between Tides on the edges of the River Nith estuary. Search teams stood down with nothing found. Police enquiries and patrols by Coastguard and Nith inshore Rescue services continuing.

Brief Summary of Task : 1 dog (Darryl & Ruby) assisted Police Scotland (Ayrshire Division) in a search for a vulnerable 46 year old male above Brodick on Arran.

Outcome and Relevant Details: Search was stood down after further information received by police and the male returned home safe and well.

Brief Summary of Task : 5 dogs (Jenny & Troy, Andy & Dugald, Alan & Molly, Calum & Dochas and John & Rowther) assisted Police Scotland (Lothians & Borders Division) and Tweed Valley and Ochils MRTs in a search for a vulnerable 44 year old male missing in the South Queensferry area.

Outcome and Relevant Details: Dog teams searched various areas around the last known position but nothing was found. Search stood down pending further police enquiries .

Brief Summary of Task : 1 dog (Jenny & Troy) assisted Police Scotland (Dumfries and Galloway Division) and Galloway MRT after a flashing light was seen on a hillside near to Gatehouse of Fleet.

Outcome and Relevant Details: False alarm with good intent and the search was stood down.

Brief Summary of Task : 1 dog (Andy & Dugald) assisted Police Scotland (Tayside Division) in a search for a missing Marine last seen running in the hills above Glen Clova in the Angus Hills.

Outcome and Relevant Details: Dog teams searched in extremely treacherous conditions with strong winds and driving rain on the high tops above Loch Brandy. Sadly the body of a man was located by search teams. FATALITY
