2010- 23- 2 dogs assisted Fife Constabluary in the search of a 75 year old man who went missing in the village of Auchtertool near Kirkcaldy. Last seen walking towards his home address the searches were concentrated in fields and woodland near the village. Missing person was subsequently found by searching police officers down a steep hill on the edge of a cornfield. He was alive but suffering effects of exposure and injury as a result of a fall. Handlers assisted with first aid and 4X4 vehicle extraction from the field to the waiting ambulance.
